Terms of Service

Effective October 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Sendy ("Sendy", "we", "us") about your use of the Sendy app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who can use Sendy

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if you are located in, or a resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on a sanctions list, or if using the Service is illegal where you are.

A self-custody wallet

Sendy is software that helps you control your own wallet. It is not a bank, an exchange or a custodian, and we do not take deposits or hold your money. Your wallet keys are held by our key-management provider, Turnkey, in a space only your passkey can authorise; Sendy cannot access, move, freeze or recover your funds.

You are responsible for keeping access to your wallet: your passkey, the Apple or Google account you sign in with, and your devices. If you lose access to all of them and have not saved your recovery phrase, we cannot restore your wallet.

Sendy does not hold or exchange government-issued money. Balances are shown in U.S. dollars for convenience only.

Payments are final

  • You authorise every payment yourself, with your passkey. Check the recipient, amount, asset and network before you confirm.
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible. We cannot cancel, reverse or refund a payment sent to the wrong address or person.
  • Payments can take time and may be delayed by network congestion or by the providers that move money between networks. A quote can expire or change before a payment is submitted; we will ask you to confirm again when it does.
  • Stablecoins are issued by third parties (for example Circle for USDC and EURC, and Tether for USDT). An issuer can freeze an address or a stablecoin can lose its peg; these risks are outside our control.

Fees

Sendy charges a small app fee on most payments — currently one unit of the coin you send (for example 1 USDC) — plus the network and routing fees charged by blockchains and payment providers. Every fee is shown before you confirm a payment. Where a network fee can only be estimated, we show the estimate, or that it is calculated when the payment is sent; you are charged the actual amount, which can never exceed a limit fixed when you confirm. We may change our fees; a change never applies to a payment you have already confirmed.

Third-party networks and providers

The Service relies on blockchains and on third-party providers, such as Turnkey, cross-network bridges, swap venues and fee sponsors. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, security or conduct. Your use of them through Sendy may also be subject to their own terms.

Compliance and prohibited use

We screen payment destinations against sanctions lists and may refuse a payment that fails screening. You agree not to use the Service:

  • for anything illegal, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud or evading sanctions;
  • to send or receive the proceeds of crime, or to pay for illegal goods or services;
  • to attack, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service, or to access it by automated means other than as we allow;
  • to impersonate anyone or create accounts for someone else without permission.

People, messages and money links

You can choose an @handle, add people, chat, send requests and share money links. You are responsible for what you post and send. Do not:

  • harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone, or post hateful, sexually explicit or violent content;
  • send spam, scams or misleading payment requests;
  • use a handle, name or photo that impersonates someone or infringes their rights;
  • share someone else's private information without their consent.

You can block anyone and report a person or message from their profile. We review reports and may remove content, reclaim a handle, or limit or close an account that breaks these rules. To report something urgent, email support@sendybank.com.

Anyone you share a money link or payment request with can see its amount, asset, memo and your first name and last initial. Only share links with people you trust.

Suspending or closing an account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete). Deleting your account deletes your wallets and their keys — move your funds out first, because money left in a deleted wallet cannot be recovered. See the Privacy Policy (https://web-production-a2bc0.up.railway.app/privacy) for what happens to your data.

We may suspend or close your access to the Service if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect users or the Service. Because the Service is self-custody, you can still use your recovery phrase with another wallet if you saved it.

Our software

Sendy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. We and our licensors keep all rights in the Service, its software, name and design. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any route, quote or provider will be available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sendy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of funds, profits or data, arising from your use of the Service — including payments sent to the wrong address, the failure or conduct of a blockchain or third-party provider, the loss of your passkey or account, or a stablecoin losing value. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the app fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer you keep the rights your local law gives you.

You agree to indemnify Sendy against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and for material changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
